At Cedar Garage we are proud of the very loyal staff we have which is shown by the very few changes we have had over the years. It was a job knowing where to put proprietor John Kennard – when he is in the office he is usually on the Internet trying to find answers to problems – or else he really prefers to be working on cars, particularly diagnostics, and putting his wealth of motor trade experience to good use with problem vehicles.

Paul Brownlee, who has been with Cedar Garage since 1998, is responsible for the smooth running of the office and also ensures we comply with our terms of accreditation for the RMI Quality Control Scheme and the WSCC Trading Standards 'Buy with Confidence' scheme.

Chris Cobbett our office administrator who has been with us since 2005, has considerable experience with over 35 years experience of Parts and Motor Trade admin brings his wealth of experience to Cedar Garage and is very patient and experienced at interpreting your problems to get the best for you and your vehicles requirements. Customers will probably talk to Chris in the first instance to book in their vehicles and for general information.

Technicians – Apart from John Kennard, his brother Arthur Kennard is the longest serving member of staff having been with Cedar since 1987. Steve Blackmore joined in 1993 and particularly enjoys working on Vauxhalls and Hondas, which he is used to from his previous employment. John Cotton joined Cedar in 2002 having worked for a local Peugeot dealer then a Mitsubishi dealer. Newest of our technicians is Gavin Munnery who has now been with us since 2004, having been in the motor trade over 10 years. Arthur, John and Gavin are all MOT testers and take it in turn to do the testing.
