Expert air conditioning servicing and repairs for your vehicle

Air Con Servicing

Whether you need your air conditioning servicing, repairing or diagnosing, we have the skills and certifications to work on the Air Conditioning for your Petrol, Diesel, Electric or Hybrid vehicle safely and to a high standard.

Manufacturers state air con should be serviced every three years.

When carrying out an air con service, we do a vacuum on the system which eliminates all the moisture from the system as this can cause problems to the mechanical components, this should also identify any large leaks that may be apparent. We then re-gas the system with a correct amount of gas and oil, allowing the system to stay lubricated. Additionally to that, we add a UV dye to the system. This allows us to save you time and money on fault finding should you have a leak or if a leak appears in the future.

If your car is fitted with air conditioning, you should have it checked every year, especially if it’s not used regularly.

Questions Customers Ask About Our Vehicle Air Conditioning Service

Why do air conditioning systems need to be checked?

Air conditioning systems require frequent checks because up to 10% of the refrigerant gas can be lost every year, and humidity in the system could land you with a large bill.

Why does my car have a musty smell inside?

This could be due to an old cabin filter or a worn evaporator allowing a build up of germs and mould. We can solve this with an antibacterial clean which acts like a fogging machine in the vehicle to kill 99.9% of germs

Why does my windscreen mist up?

This can be caused by a clogged cabin filter. Have the filter changed as part of the Air Conditioning service, and use the air conditioning to de-mist. this also happens if there is to much damp inside the car either from a water leak or sometimes just leaving damp clothes in the boot.
